Our Chess Club has been so popular this term that we’re excited to open it up to even more young players! This club introduces children in Reception to Year 2 to the fundamentals of chess in a fun and supportive environment. Each week, children will learn how the pieces move, simple strategies, and how to think ahead while playing friendly games with their classmates. Chess helps develop concentration, patience, problem-solving skills, and confidence, all while having fun and learning good sportsmanship.
